so i'm pretty much a 100% slacker...
and sometimes, if its been too long since my last confession, i have a hard time coming back cause it makes me feel like i have to post something AMAZING... a whole, 'if i cant give quantity, i must give quality' thing...
so to try and just get over it and not let it fester into something bigger than me, i figured i'd just pop over, write some BS failure of a post and break the no-posting cycle...
therefore, i'm going with recommendations...
Vegetarian Meatballs at Rice
Banana Cake at Billy's Bakery
Lemon-Ricotta pancakes at Sarabeth's
the Tonya Harding shrine at Trailer Park Bar
Vegetarian Hot Dogs at Big Nick's
cheese, wine and more cheese at Artisanal
Guacamole at The Great Burrito
Shrimp Tempura Rolls and any lychee/alcohol drink at Haru
Fairway
Fresh Fruit Margaritas on the patio at El Rey Del Sol
Venti Skinny Vanilla Lattes at Starbucks (yes, i know its uncool to list this but deal with it)
Restaurant Week at Tabla
Grits at Bubby's
deserts at either Cafe Lalo, Cafe Mozart or Edgar's Cafe
Green Tea yogurt with pineapple, capt'n crunch and yogurt chips at Pinkberry
unlimited brunch drink option at Arte Cafe
you can call this the Kitchen Hell Culinary Tour of NYC ;)

I can vouch for almost all of the above, and I like the fact that of the things on this list that I've had, I've had a lot of them with you!
So how about we knock off the rest of the list (save for the shrimp tempura and Starbucks) when I move back this summer?
Why have we never gone to brunch at Arte? And when are we going????
The dogs at Big Nicks definitely were good, but OMG, Sarabeth's was the best brunch I've ever had in my life. I didn't get the lemon-ricotta pancakes but the pumpkin ones. So.....so....I can't even think of an adjective good enough to describe them.
