see, sometimes life gets in the way of everything else, and this weekend was one of those times... without getting into the details, let's just say that there was a friend in need. and she wasnt in need of farm fresh veggies, she was in need of alcohol...
i think the weekend can be summarized by telling you what we drank each night - starting with bottles of wine, beer and kahlua singles... and then, suddenly, it became immediately necessary that we drink chocolate martinis...
unfortunately, we were at the store with no internet access and unable to remember what all went into a chocolate martini, so we improvised...
Vanilla Vodka, Godiva Liquor and Starbucks Liquor...
Susan got the bright idea to put all of the alcohol into the freezer so that we could have nicely chilled drinks... what she forgot to bank on is that there isnt really enough of an alcohol concentration in Godiva Chocolate Liquor to keep it from freezing... oops.
so we made her sit with it between her legs until we felt she was sufficiently punished...
unfortunately, her thighs did not generate enough heat and we had to microwave it anyway... still, the shaker was icy cold...
(note to self: do not attempt the 'will my tongue freeze to this metal' trick on shaker... it does look tempting though, doesnt it???)
and the drinks were ready...

Chocolate Coffee Martinis

6 shots vanilla vodka
5 shots godiva chocolate liquor
2 shots starbucks coffee liquor
combine all in a shaker (with ice if your havent kept your alcohol in the freezer) and, well, shake until well combined.
divide between 2 - 3 martini glasses and garnish with small plastic toys.

Apparently my thighs NEVER generate enough heat. I will be single forever....
